The project was a group project of two members for duration of three weeks. For thestart, the chassis dimensions were given. A brainstorming session was conductedto find possible niche areas of applications.
The following werecharacteristics of a typical zoo visit:
Wide spread zoo area; takes time to visiteach corner of zoo in a day; Without proper direction and counseling easy toget lost and loose interest; Apart from visitors, zoo staff also needs avehicle to carry out routine activities like feeding animals.
The proposal - An ELECTRIC mobility solution, noise free, emissionfree, Interactive visual and audio console on dashboard, storage space (whichcan be used by staff to carry food to cages), easy to ingress and get off, Easyto start and stop, good maneuverability.
Looking at the pattern of visitors and availablevehicle platform, the vehicle is proposed for transport of one adult and one child.
